The remaining 5 are mostly obtained in the post-game through a variety of different methods. The Icium Z is the only one of these that can be obtained in the main game, it is just extremely difficult to obtain. The signature Z-Crystals are mainly found behind tablets, but the Pokémon they apply to either can’t be obtained in the main game or are only obtained extremely late in the game.

This ensures that random Trainers always stay a few levels behind you (assuming you’re ahead of the base level curve), and Gym Leaders’ or Boss’ strongest Pokémon will always be one level higher than your highest. However, there’s a certain threshold from your strongest Pokémon that your team members are only taken account of if their level falls within this threshold. Because of this, it’s unwise to try and power through with only one Pokémon, since that Pokémon alone will determine the level curve. Even though Turtle Rock wasn’t required , everything else was terrible. I had to go into many dungeons that I couldn’t complete yet before I found either the lamp or ocarina, meaning Death Mountain was cut off (I haven’t learned Death Mountain passage in the dark).

I guess I never really considered that Zelda might have a birthday. I suppose all video game characters do, now I come to think of it, but it’s not often that you need to contend with their presents being stolen by a mysterious presence. This is a classic little game and worth a punt if you’ve played the original more times than you’ve had hot dinners. They’re two of the greatest video game characters ever. The retro gaming community never ceases to amaze me. Their mission to provide us with new adventures, long-awaited sequels for cancelled games, and titles where characters would never normally meet is worth of multiple awards.

Also, this game follows a very dark path with some fantastic dark humor. I would recommend these rom hacks if you are looking for a fun adventure full of laughter. And though Nintendo would try to silence the fam game community, these titles are some of the most love-filled and high-effort projects that keep fans occupied while waiting to support the next official release Go Now. The challenge of the boss is that he doesn’t always have his shield out. He always attacks you with his extremely long-ranged sword before that, after firing a long beam of darkness that’s easily avoidable. My problem with this is, how the HELL do you AVOID getting hit by that sword? Compare this to Minish Cap, where it is fully possible, I’ve done it, to beat every boss until the cloud dungeon boss, without getting hit. It took me forever for the boss of Castor Wilds, but I did it. The former isn’t a real puzzle, just tedious bad design, and the latter is nothing I haven’t done before.
